an old man in the clouds
tell him we're on our way to meet him
though it might take a little while.
we've just begun this journey
and the waters go on for miles.
If he'd spare his bolts of lightning
we might reach that skyward isle.
that old man in the sea,
let him calm the earth that quakes before us
and lull the oceans into sleep.
push us forward
and fill our sails with gentle breeze
With love and light in all directions
Until we've laid to rest in peace.
